Can You Help??

The Redditch Green Fair is organised and run entirely by a very small band of volunteers, independant of county/borough councils, with no support from national organisations/campaigning groups. The aim of the fair is quite simply to promote sustainable, eco-friendly ways of living whilst showcasing the towns ever increasing network of `green` organisations and companies. We plan to stage the fair annually, on or near to World Environment Day, 5th June. We hope that the fair will grow in size and popularity year after year!

We're on the lookout for more volunteers to assist in making this years event as successful as can be! We need lots of help, in all kinds of different ways, including the following:

Distribute Leaflets

Would you like to distribute leaflets amongst your friends, family, work colleagues etc? If so, please download the fair leaflet(4 per A4 sheet) in PDF format. Simply click the image to the right, and then print, copy and distribute wherever you can! You could even go door to door leafletting round your neighbourhood!!

Display Posters

We have an A4 size poster which can also be blown up to A3. If you know of any noticeboards at your place of work, community rooms, church etc, please pin up a poster. Also, you could try local libraries, shop windows etc. Simply click the image to the right, and then print, copy and display wherever you can!

Online Promotion

If you`re a member of a chat room or message board, you could tell other members about the fair and include our web address. If you run your own website, please contact us if you`d like to swap links. (Please Note: we will only display links to ethical, green companies and organisations.)

Help on the Big Day!

We have some volunteers already, but we need many more! We need people to help set up tables in the church hall, display banners/advertising boards around the town centre, serve refreshments from the kitchen, hand out promotional leaflets, photograph/video the days events and more. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer some of your time.

Suggestions for Stalls/Attractions

If you have any suggestions for stalls or other attractions for the event, please don`t keep them to yourself, we would love to hear from you! Perhaps you run a local `green` company/organisation and would like to be part of the event. Please contact us

Donations

The event will cost alot of money to lay on. If you would like to help by donating a service which we need (eg printing) please contact us. Or you could help by making a small contribution towards the cost. Please make cheques payable to `Redditch Friends of the Earth` and post to Redditch Green Fair, PO Box 10202, Redditch, Worcs.
